The Walter and Mary Jane Hait Family of Cottonwood Falls Chase County Kansas

My maternal great-grandparents Walter Griffin and Mary Jane (Holmes) Hait moved from Michigan to Iowa, then to Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, running a successful furniture store. They later relocated to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, during the oil boom, raising five children, including my grandfather Harry, who passed away just before I was born.
