My parents, born in Oklahoma, met at the University of Oklahoma, married, and attended seminary in Evanston, IL, where I was born in 1945. As an Episcopal priest, they served in Durant, Oklahoma City, Lawrence, Dallas, Kansas City, and Tucson. Reverend Swift died in 1995, Mary in 2001.
